Our Customers
NetKnacks Tennis Awards was formed in 1990 for the purpose of providing unique, personalized tennis awards in all budget ranges exclusively for tennis tournaments, associations, leagues and events.
In addition to the clubs, leagues and associations that we supply awards to, we are the official awards supplier for the USTA League Tennis Program. We also provide merchandise for other USTA programs via the USTA Promotional Products Catalog we produce in partnership with the USTA.
Our Staff
Marcy Hirshberg, Owner

Marcy has a BA in English and an MBA from Emory University where she was captain of the tennis team. She is a ranked tournament player in Georgia and is a former president of the Georgia Professional Tennis Association and the ALTA Foundation. She currently volunteers on the USTA Adaptive Tennis Committee and is the Chairperson of the USTA/Georgia Adult Competition Committee and the Vice Chair of the USTA Southern Marketing Committee.
Michael Brewer, Assistant Controller

Michael has a BS in Accounting from Auburn University in Montgomery, Alabama. He has worked for small family businesses for most of his career. Outside of work, he and his wife enjoy spending time with family, weekend travel, adopt rescued senior dogs, and are involved with antique and classic cars.
Mark Thompson, Director of Business Development

Mark has a BA in English from Brandeis University. He is a PTR certified teaching pro, with his favorite pupils being 10 and under. Mark’s marketing experience includes being director of marketing for retail and specialty retail businesses, and his sales experience includes promotional sales and marketing exclusively for the tennis industry. He also enjoys playing tennis and enjoys promoting the growth of the game.
Cindy Trotta, League Awards Representative

Cindy has a BS in Management Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo and worked as a computer professional until the birth of her second son. A move to Atlanta in 1992 allowed her to become a stay-at-home-mom and take on various volunteer positions with the neighborhood HOA, Swim Team, and the Boy Scouts. She re-entered the 'paid' work force in 2005 taking a position as an account representative for a small embroidery company. Cindy learned to play tennis in high school and enjoys playing both USTA and ALTA year-round. She is currently in charge of the USTA Leagues Awards Program for NetKnacks Tennis Awards.

Leah has a BA in Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. She has been working at NetKnacks since 2004 helping with receptionist, sales orders, inventory, and shipping and receiving duties among many other helpful tasks. Along with numerous hobbies, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
Joanne Lorys, Account Manager

Joanne has a MBA from Sacred Heart University, Farifield, CT. She worked for Georgia Pacific in various sales and marketing positions before leaving the corporate world to have a family. Joanne was active in her children’s schools volunteering for various committees, tutoring and serving on the PTA Board. She has also been involved with providing administrative support for a local non-profit. Joanne enjoys playing tennis with her close friends, cooking and mostly spending time with her family.

Harold has a BS from the University of the South where he played football and baseball. He spent most of his business career in the chemical, data processing, and telecommunications industries. He has worked for NetKnacks for many years, and is married with four grown children and five grandchildren.
